Today we introduce you to Pablito Zago from France. From black and white paste up to very colorful murals, this artist has a many faces since he also works as an illustrator, graphic designer and even Dj! He got his inspiration from different universes as underground american comics, child books or his passion for masks.
These two French artists met in elementary school and never split afterwards. They like to cover the cities with these amazing combinations of stencils and wheat pastes with a clear eye for detail ! Strange faces inspired from famous comic-characters. Check out every corner in Lisbon and beyond: http://www.noty-aroz.com/
Not much is known about his origins but since 2007 he has been conquering the streets (and many exhibitionspaces) with his little monsters in neon, silly, childish shapes sharing a moment of simplicity and smiles. In defining his style as art comedy, his sole purpose is “trying to brighten up the viewers day and cheer them up a bit”.
He left a LOT of them behind in Lisbon… and we love those newspaperpaste-ups with a colourful twist !
Currently he lives and works in Amsterdam where he has a very nice and especially very colourful studio.
