We hope you all recovered well from the holidayseason ! If you still manage to struggle with a «ressaca» (pt. for hangover) try out some soft boiled egg along with a slize of lightly toasted bread ; )

  • Some options to do during the day: flea markets. You have Feira da Ladra in the center (Saturday morning) or Feira do relogio close to metro Chelas (Sunday morning, Avenida Santo Condestável)


  • Let’s start the celebrations Friday at Damas with the now famous series of Mundo Quesadillas. This session will be with DJ  Xico da Ladra

  • Like a Xmas market but different, if you still need some gifts we encourage you to check the one of OTOCO studio. They will sale work from Lisbon based artists and there will be prices adapted to every budget.

  • Go and see the vidéo mapping of Xmas in Alameda. Each the municipality of Lisbon is offering very nice video mapping (last year at Praça do Comercio) for everyone to enjoy.

  • You want to do something good and generous for Xmas? There will be a great initiative happening on Friday. Go to Avenida Liberdade (at the level of Hard Rock café) and hang a coat or jumper you don’t use anymore. It will go to someone that needs it.

  • The association Renovar a Mouraria is celebrating their 5th anniversary of their house “la Mouradia”. There will be concerts from 16h30 and a small exhibition.

  • December is the time of X-mas markets. They’re popping up everywhere in Lisbon and you will have one this week-end in the central area of Chiado.

  • The art gallery Oficina Irmãos Marques has also a X-mas market this week-end with 10% discount on Saturday! They have pieces for every budget so it’s the perfect place if you want to bring back home an art piece from a local artist.

  • OnduLar Ateliê, the new studio of our friend and artist Giulia is presenting its first show of a long series. This one is from Gonçalo Antunes who made 212 drawings in 7 months divided in 7 notes books.

  • The new art fest is starting and the opening is this Friday. The New Art Fest is an annual international festival of ‘new media’, and an important platform for artistic creativity and theoretical reflection associated with technology, science, and society.
