We have been off a little lately though definitely not sitting still… there is so much happening in this beautiful and colourful city ! Though we decided to keep on sharing that with all you wonderful people. Because if the temperatures may not be rising… our bodyheat is into dancing and walking and spreading a lot of good vibes around ! Every Friday one can enjoy in the garden of sculptures of the Museum some chill music vibes.  A yearly event to take over our Summer Nights with free concerts by a wide variety of dj’s taking over an institutionalized setting.

  • AURA festival

When you move a little bit out of Lisbon, you can encounter Sintra. A fairytale spot of castles and palaces and superb beaches and forests. But the coming days there will be a wonderful lightshow to be seen. In the historical part of the centre, original works will be displayed through a variety of multimedia, interactive audio-visual installations, videomapping and light-sculptures. Plus for the hungry souls there will be even a variety of streetfood foreseen. Already a yearly tradition by the AURA Sintra since the last 5years… so definitely something to check out and celebrate along !

Who doesn’t know the Portuguese illustrator and surfer Lizzy? Besides combining these two passions on a daily basis, Lizzy has quiet some committed illustrations that deal with the protection of the ocean and its pollution. Untill August 15th she is having her exhibition “Soul & Surf illustrations” running in a cute healthy food hotspot, called Cabane !

During August there are more concerts happening… for example the coming two week there will also be live music in the magic garden of the Gulbenkian. Even though not for free, definitely worth it to try once (or more if you got affected by the jazz-vibe). Check more info and tickets: here !

Much more into practicing your flexibility, coming to stillness or just enjoying wonderful vibes with people in a natural setting in the midst of the citycentre of Lisbon? Then this might a good alternative to join along a few classes and workshops all related to body and mind. All is based on donation.

Those, curious to explore the city of Lisbon through what is written on the walls, we invite each and everyone to participate our street art walk through the center of Lisbon. Note you will also contribute to the art-scenery of Lisbon as part of this remuneration is directly invested in our yesyoucan.spray collective. We organize paint jams and workshops with artists from, based in or just passing through Lisbon.

It stays a weekly tradition if you want to escape the centre but still don’t want to travel too far… a small boattrip away and you can enjoy a complete different view on Lisbon. Along with delicious food, arts, live music and crafty beers !
