Not only can we celebrate the beautiful springtime that has yet arrived… but 100 weeks of online communication sharing with you our best selection of events every w’kend happening in town… is definitely another good reason to go out there and tsjing another ginja. BoCa Bienal invited Marina Abramovic to display her latest show «Spirit House» in this freshly restaured galleryspace. A highlight of the biennial of contemporary arts in Portugal. Controversial, exquisite and an interesting surprise within performance arts… it is a must to visit. For those curious to know more about the life and works of Abramovic, check out her biography !

He literally just finished a fresh mural with our collective yesyouCAN.SPRAY and he is already hiding behind the turning tables to amaze us with some wonderful beats & sounds. Let yourself be guided by Brazilian multimedia artist Thiago Goms. An original concept which originally started in São Paulo moved to Lisbon, where the invited DJ chooses a random vinyl in the store and all other participants can create something alike or completely different with that same record ! Interesting experiment !

Springtime will be celebrated more than once this w’kend. Not only with a nice picnic in the park but also in this beautiful hotspot of Lisbon offering a nice mixture of yogaclasses, workshops all kind, talks, poetry, dance happenings and concerts.

Who has not seen the illustrations of Nuno Saraiva yet… may it be on the wall, in the newspaper or any other medium in between? He has a particular style of drawing the life of Portuguese people and worldwide facts. Now he is organizing an exhibition at Bartô to represent another view on Mouraria and its inhabitants of back in the days.

Those, curious to explore the city of Lisbon through what is written on the walls, we definitely invite you to join our weekly open tour ! Note you will also contribute to the art-scenery of Lisbon as part of our earnings goes directly to our yesyoucan.spray collective (check it out: www.yesyoucanspray.com). We organize paint jams and workshops with artists from, based in or just passing through Lisbon.

A fresh exhibition by Ana Melo aka Amalteia, illustrating humour, colour and interesting sceneries where there is no spce for selfies ; ).
