After talking about the highlights of the collection and the controverse building of the National Coach Museum in Part 1 – A Clash of Styles it is time to explore Portuguese history.
Assassinations and revolutions, earthquakes and royal weddings.
This museum doesn’t just have incredible carriages to show, but some amazing stories to tell.
Oh, and did I mention there is another building? The original one, where the museum started out. A palace like hall, formerly used as the royal riding school. Just beautiful!
Read everything about the building, toilets and the Queen in the first part about my experience at the National Coach Museum on my blog and join me on one of my next visits! Tomorrow I will be at the Money Museum and Sunday at National Tile Museum.
See you soon in a museum around Lisbon!
