Olápolola… We have been silent for awhile to prepare our splendid wicked team for an even more splendid summer ahead. Even though the weather might not yet be what we expected from it… we still aim to warm up your hearts with arts and sounds ! If you are also wondering what is happening in this city the coming w’kend, we made a little overview (If you have any other suggestions for us, let us know here !)

  • ARRRRRAIALNaMouraria

One of our favourite hotspots in Mouraria to celebrate the festas is definitely happening at Largo da Rosa. Absorb the local atmosphere with multicultivibes, sardines, bifanas, live-music, and lots of beers ! The team and volunteers of Renovar a Mouraria await you ! #ARRRRRAIAL2018 #RenovarAMouraria #ARRRRRAIALNaMouraria

Friday 19h – … » Saturday 19h – … » Sunday 19h – … / Largo da Rosa, Mouraria.

An exhibition by Russian artist and performer Maxim Black aka Blax44 that has been surprising us all several times in the city of Lisbon with fierce inkexplosions and pleasant performances. Check out more about the artist and his event here !

Saturday 16:00h – 20:30h / Lost Lisbon, Travessa do Corpo Santo 10/2dto, Cais Sodré.

For those that passed the outskirts of Cascais last week, one could notice some incredible wallpaintings pop up by as incredible artists ! Skran, Jimmy C, Samina, Tamara Alves… O Bairro da Torre is turning slowly but certain into an open air gallery with more stories in the neighbourhood than the walls alone can capture. Go check it out accompagnied with live-music ! And with a little of luck still stumble upon one or two artists adding the final touches to their pieces.

Saturday 17:00h – … / Torre, Cascais.

The event that fits best those lazy sunny Sundays is by far Outjazz ! Live-music with jazzy bands and dj-sets while enjoying the view and an incredible sunset… hmm ! You might have to go a little beyond the citycentre to get there but once you pass Pastelaria de Bélem for a delicious pastel, it won’t be far no more ! Promise !

Sunday 17:00h – 20:30h / Keil do Amaral Amphiteatro Monsanto (bus 711, 723, 724, 729)

And don’t forget our OPEN TOUR on Sunday @ 10h starting from Praça Luís Camões (near Baixa-Chiado metro) ! You can register here !

And a little extra for those that are present the coming week in Lisbon:

A habit for so many editions in a row… not to miss if you want to absorb the typical folklore that colours this city and its neighbourhoods. Marching against and along oneanother inviting us not to stand still ! Check out the page of Festas de Lisboa (the festivities in Lisbon) to be updated at all times !

Tuesday 21:00h – 01:00h / Avenida da Liberdade.
